Qualtech Products Industry Burst Strength Tester is an advanced Burst Tester to instantly test the Bursting Strength of Paper, Paperboard, Textiles and related sample materials at the touch of a button.
The Paper Pop Test is performed by mounting the sample between two ring-shaped sample clamps. A rubber diaphragm is slowly and automatically inflated and expands towards the substrate applying slowly increasing physical stress on the sample until the substrate ruptures.
The Paper Pop Test and Paperboard Pop Test is performed on each side of the sample to offer test results with a very high accuracy. The Burst Strength Result is calculated as the average means of both sides of the Pop Test.
The Paper Bursting Strength Test is a composite strength property and it correlates with the amount of fiber and additives present in the sample as well as the composition, the beating and the refining of the sample.
