Qualtech Products Industry Dropping Point Tester is a precision Thermal Automatic Dropping and Softening Point Tester to automatically measure the Dropping Point and the Softening Point of a wide range of samples including wax, resin, lubricants, fat, grease and related sample materials. The integrated Advanced Dual Cartridge System allows for the simultaneous testing of two samples at the touch of a button.

The Softening Point is the temperature at which a solid sample begins to soften.

The Dropping Point is the temperature at which a solid sample begins to release drops.

The Advanced Dual‑Sample Dropping & Softening Point Tester is a high‑precision thermal analysis instrument designed for reliable characterization of greases, waxes, resins and other thermosoftening materials. Equipped with an integrated High Resolution Video Recording System, it provides clear visual documentation of each test cycle, ensuring traceable and reproducible results. The Dual Sample Configuration increases throughput and supports simultaneous comparative testing under identical conditions. Fully compatible with ASTM and DIN EN ISO and AS/NZS this Advanced Thermal Dropping and Softening Point System delivers accurate Dropping Point, Softening Point and melting‑behavior measurements across a wide range of industrial and laboratory applications.

To determine the Softening Point and the Dropping Point of samples, the sample is placed into the Softening Point Sample Holder of this Automatic Softening Point Tester. The sample is heated steadily and under increasing temperature the point of change in phase is automatically calculated and presented on the large Color Touchscreen Display.
